Mosquito dad

I have a dad who “loves” mosquitoes very much. He looks like the king of mosquitoes. Wherever he goes, the mosquitoes always follow. But even as the king, his soldiers — mosquitoes — will still bite him. We call him, mosquito dad.

My dad loves mosquitoes, and he takes them as his pets! He even feeds his pets sometimes. For example, my dad will lie down on the sofa after supper, and call out: “My lovely little mosquitoes, here comes your delicious dinner!”

On the opposite side, my mum is the mosquito killer. She can kill seven to eight mosquitoes easily in a day. When she is cleaning the house, she sometimes finds mosquitoes lying on the floor, as they have eaten too much and look like flies. With their full stomaches, the mosquitoes can’t fly quickly. So it is easy for her to kill them.

We used to send out warning signals to the mosquitoes by yelling, but then mum would show up immediately with a mosquito racket to kill them. But my dad will inform the mosquitoes and help them to escape. Sometimes I see mosquitoes in the bathroom, and I’d call mum, and then she would come and start chasing them. My dad would shout outside: “My lovely little mosquitoes, run, run. A monster is coming!”

I want the dad to eat something that will drive mosquitoes away. Believe me, having a mosquito dad isn’t fun at all.Want to be a Budding Writer?
