THE 25th China (Shenzhen) International Gift and Home Product Fair, a leading expo of its kind in Asia, opened Friday at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center with two designated exhibition areas for innovative and intelligent products.

The original design exhibition area in Hall 4 is designated for smart products with an especially intuitive sense of design, including some that have won top design awards such as the iF Design Award and the Red Dot Design Award.

Themed “Smart Life,” the Maker Gallery on the second floor has gathered different kinds of novel, practical and creative intelligent products, such as a wearable live streaming camera, a sleep-monitoring pillow, a portable intelligent washing machine, and an intelligent keychain and power bank.

In addition, the organizer has set up a special exhibition area featuring e-cigarettes and fashionable gifts in Hall 3.

Consumers have higher requirements for the types of gifts they’d like to receive nowadays as they think highly of their quality of life. Products that have both an attractive appearance and high practical value are gaining favor above the competition, according to the organizer.

The four-day fair, with a record-setting exhibition area covering 110,000 square meters, has attracted 2,300 exhibitors from a dozen countries and regions. Since its commencement in 1993, the fair has been dedicated to showcasing more than 20 categories of gifts and home products.
