Room hobbit 超宅霍比特人
    2018-January-8  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A: It seems like I haven’t seen John for ages.

B: I saw him in the cafeteria yesterday. He had to endure countless jibes and jeers after he finally decided to stop being a room hobbit and emerged from his room with a man mane that came out from his pants, extending down his leg trunks to his jagged, witch-like toenails.

Note: Hobbits are a fictional, diminutive, humanoid race who inhabit the lands of Middle-earth in J. R. R. Tolkien’s fiction. They are also referred to as Halflings. In college, one who stays in their room for countless hours on end without ever coming out until they grow long hair and toenails is called “room hobbit,” perhaps alluding to their secluded life in earthen dwellings.
