Kan Tai-keung’s works

Hong Kong designer Kan Tai-keung is exhibiting his ink paintings and calligraphic works at ONE S in Qianhai. Kan is one of Hong Kong’s most famous graphic designers and noted ink painters. Born in 1942 in Panyu, Guangdong, Kan has resided in Hong Kong since 1957. Influenced by his clay sculptor grandfather, Kan developed a passion for painting in his childhood.

Dates: Until March 15

Venue: ONE S, Block 19, Vanke Enterprise Mansions, 63 Qianhai Road 1 (前海一路63号前海万科企业公馆19栋前海壹会艺术空间)

Metro: Line 1, Liyumen Station (鲤鱼门站), Exit A, and then take a free Qianhaixing (前海行) shuttle bus

Design exhibitions

Two design-themed exhibitions, “Minding the Digital” (until June 3) and “Values of Design” (until Aug. 4, 2019), are being held in Shekou. Drawing from the V&A’s extensive collection in London, “Values of Design” features over 250 objects from year 900 to the present. “Minding the Digital” brings visitors into a novel world of immersive experiences shaped by digital technologies.
