Timberlake back

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE debuted his upcoming album’s first single, titled “Filthy,” Friday at midnight ET. The “Filthy” video has the singer, portraying a Steve Jobs-like inventor, watching from side-stage as his latest creation gets to show off all his funky moves to a packed audience.

The new album, “Man of the Woods,” will drop Feb. 2, just two days before Timberlake takes the stage at the Super Bowl halftime show.

New president

CATE BLANCHETT will be the next president of the Cannes Film Festival jury.

The two-time Academy Award winner said in a statement that she was “humbled” to take on the role. “This festival plays a pivotal role in bringing the world together to celebrate story; that strange and vital endeavor that all peoples share, understand and crave,” Blanchett said. Blanchett will become the 12th woman to lead the Cannes jury.

Coachella fest

BEYONCE is making good on her promise to headline the 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

She was slated to headline last year’s festival, but the songstress was pregnant and canceled due to doctor’s orders. Lady Gaga stepped in as her replacement.

Beyonce promised to return this year to headline the event, which takes place annually in California’s Inland Empire. The music festival, which is held over two weekends in April, will also be headlined by the Weeknd and Eminem.

Awards

“THREE Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” took three prizes, including best film, at the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts’ 7th AACTA International Awards. The film also earned best screenplay honors for writer-director Martin McDonagh and best supporting actor for Sam Rockwell.

Margot Robbie took home the best lead actress prize for her portrayal of Tonya Harding in “I, Tonya.” Gary Oldman was named best lead actor for playing Winston Churchill in “Darkest Hour.”(SD-Agencies)
