App brings convenience to patients
    2018-February-13  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A SMARTPHONE app called Healthy Shenzhen has added several new functions recently, enabling residents in the city to get medical services in a more convenient way, the Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reported yesterday.

The app was launched by the Shenzhen Health Information Center in February last year. By using the app, residents can make appointments with doctors, make online payments and check their medical reports with mobile phones.

The app also raises the efficiency of communication between doctors and patients as doctors can look over their patients’ medical records on the app. Besides, by adopting a smart analysis system, the app can help patients get a better understanding of the abnormal figures in their medical reports.

The Shenzhen Hospital of Southern Medical University has launched the “Online Hospital” service on the app. It allows patients with chronic diseases to order medicine from the hospital via the app, and the medicine will be delivered to the patients’ homes so that they don’t have to visit the hospital frequently for filling prescriptions.
