British tourists killed in  chopper crash
    2018-February-13  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

THREE British tourists have been killed in a U.S. helicopter crash after the chopper went down in the Grand Canyon, Britain’s foreign ministry said late Sunday.

A further three British people and the pilot were injured when the accident happened at around 5:20 p.m. Saturday.

“We are providing support to the families of six British visitors involved in a helicopter accident at the Grand Canyon on Feb. 10, and we are in close contact with the U.S. emergency services,” a spokeswoman for the foreign ministry said.

Local media reported the Eurocopter EC130 helicopter, whose operator was unknown, was travelling on a tour.
